General Notes

• Your LGA email, calendar, and contacts are integrated directly within the Outlook app on all platforms. Connect to Outlook on the platform of your choice to get access to all three.

Assignment 1: Connect to Outlook on the Web

Your first assignment is to log into Outlook on the web to confirm that you know your Microsoft username and password. This will guarantee you have at least one method for accessing your new email, calendar, and contacts at the cutover.

Assignment 2: File your tagged messages into folders

Cutover has occured and this assignment is no longer applicable. If you have tagged messages in your old account, you can still refer to the old account to see what is tagged, but the tags cannot be migrated autmatically. You will need to assign them manually.

Assignment 3: Connect with Outlook on the desktop

The desktop version of Outlook is recommended if you are a heavy email and calendar user. It is the most powerful of the connection options.

To use the desktop app you need to:

• Install the Microsoft Authenticator App

• Connect using Outlook on the desktop
