Windows vs MacOS
Microsoft's products for MacOS consistently lag in development behind their Microsoft Windows counterparts. Here are some differences you will encounter when using a Mac with Microsoft 365. This list is not exhaustive.
Security
In general MacOS devices are less-well integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem.
Limited Public Folder Support
New Outlook for Mac does not support public folders!
Classic Outlook for Mac allows access to public folders but is missing a few ease-of-use features.
Depending on your use case this may mean you will need to use Legacy Outlook for Mac.
Teams
Users should now be using "New Teams" which on MacOS is called Microsoft Teams (work or school). The previous generation of Teams is called Microsoft Teams Classic.
There are no significant differences between Teams across platforms.
